The
band established early 1998 in Gelsenkirchen. From the very beginning
Fritz
Rott (git., voc.),
†
Mathias Höfer (dr) and
Martin
Kraus (bs)
uncompromisingly developed their own style called "New-Heavy-Independent-Rock".
They combine a hard grooving Indie-Sound ("No Means No"
meets "Nirvana") with catchy melodies (best regards to
"Neil Young" and "John C. Fogerty"). Hammering
rhythms with sudden changes and aggressive sprechgesang are part
of their repertoire as well as covers from CCR and a punkstyle version
of David McWilliams "The Days Of Pearly Spencer".
Their amazing liveshows reveal the bands real qualities. The
intensity of their performance can hardly be caught in a studio.
With their unaffected presentation and their unique mixture Its
Raining Nails point the way to the future of alternative rock
music.
